I found Shine Yoga when I was pregnant with my daughter in 2021. I did pregnancy then mums and bubs yoga. Once it ended I went back for reiki yoga with Kristy until I fell pregnant with my son at the end of 2022 when I went back for more! This time I did yoga and pilates and then mums and bubs pilates . Kristy has a range of classes for everyone! I love the community she has created through her classes as well as the classes themselves 100% recommend Shine Yoga for your journey through motherhood !!

Started with Shine Yoga in the early stages of pregnancy and absolutely love it. Such a relaxed room to be in. Very calming after a day of work.

Our weekly yoga with Kristy at Shine Yoga is the safe and supportive space I didn’t even know I needed as a first time/new mum.
It’s our favourite outing of the week and I always feel so amazing afterwards. The breathwork alone is so amazing.. all mummas need this!

Kristy is amazing at what she does. She expertly gives modifications for my pubic symphysis dysfunction, meaning I’m able to continue exercising in this pregnancy, when I wasn’t in my first. She’s also warm and welcoming and provides brilliant preparation for birth. Highly recommend!

I have attended pregnancy/birth yoga and later once my baby was born, Mums and Bubs yoga with Kristy. It’s definitely something I looked forward to each week. I definitely feel as though the pregnancy/birth yoga helped my birth experience in a positive way, because it was some time out each week during pregnancy where I actually felt like my body could relax, stretch and wind down. Which is often something hard to do when pregnant. Kristy knew exactly the right stretches and positions to do, and if it didn’t feel right, she’d help you work on something else. Mums and Bubs yoga is such a fantastic idea. Being able to bring my baby to yoga was so nice to do in the morning, and not worry about who was going to look after her whilst I was gone. Kristy and everyone in the class is very welcoming and non-judgmental and it is an extremely safe space. Kristy is great with all the babies too and always tried to make sure that the mummas got some form of stretch in if baby didn’t want to be put down for the session.

Kristy has been a wonderful instructor! I attended both Pregnancy Pilates and Yoga For Birth classes which were fantastic in preparation for birth. Kristy makes you feel calm and confident for the upcoming birth experience. Definitely take the time to try- well worth it!

I am now doing Mums and Bubs Yoga and Pilates with my second child after doing them both with my son. Kristy is amazing at what she does: anytime I have had an injury she has adjusted the exercises, encouraged me, taught me many different breathing techniques which have helped during and birth and now motherhood. I first tried her class at 36 weeks pregnant and had never done any yoga before, and it was the best decision I made.
I recommend Kristy very highly to anyone looking at doing pre or post pregnancy yoga and pilates. 😊

Kristy provides such a wonderful experience in her yoga classes. She makes space for all of the women and is so good with little ones. I had such a hard time with anxiety postpartum and found these classes to be a safe haven. I would definitely recommend the mum and bub classes, whether you’re a yoga expert or a newbie Kristy caters to all in her classes.

When I was pregnant I swapped from my usual yoga studio to Shine Yoga and it was pure bliss. From the moment you walk in, you feel at home and welcome and then you enter the studio and it’s all pretty lights and calming music and a lovely mural on the wall. It really set the stage for the yoga! Kristy has the perfect way of providing calming yoga while still getting a good stretch in. Always highly recommend her classes. Great studio where the Pregnancy classes are small which makes it intimate and comfortable. Kristy is a great teacher who focusses on explaining why certain yoga stretches can help you through your birth, I have enjoyed my classes where I was able to just focus on my little nugget and calming my busy mind. Would recommend to anyone!

I went to pregnancy yoga with my second pregnancy, the connection I was able to experience with my unborn child was beautiful and each session gave me a sense of peace and strength before my birth. The stretching and relaxation we did in class made my pregnancy easier and I also incorporated this at home too. I’ve attended the mums and bubs yoga and just recently the end of month session with Kristy and Jess and cannot recommend it enough.
