Is it safe to practice yoga and pilates during pregnancy?
Yes, for most healthy pregnancies, gentle and modified yoga and pilates are safe and beneficial. They help improve posture, reduce back pain, enhance flexibility, and strengthen the pelvic floor. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new exercise regimen.
Are pregnancy classes suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Our pregnancy yoga and pilates classes are designed for all levels, including beginners. Instructors adapt poses and movements to accommodate your changing body and comfort level.
When can I start attending pregnancy yoga and pilates classes?
Classes are suitable to attend from 10 weeks gestation.
Can I continue with yoga and pilates throughout my entire pregnancy?
Absolutely! One of the best things you can do throughout your pregnancy is to continue to move your body. Movement helps to prepare your body for birth and aids a quicker recovery post birth. It is not uncommon to have women attending our classes at 41+ weeks pregnant!
Are your mums and bubs classes suitable for beginners?
Absolutely, no experience is required. Classes are designed for all levels, including beginners.
What if my baby cries, needs to be fed or needs a nappy change during a class?
Feeding, changing nappies, or soothing your baby are all part of the experience. Our studio is a supportive space where you can attend to your baby’s needs without any pressure to step outside. Crying, feeding, or even sleeping babies are completely natural and embraced here. Feel free to care for your little one as needed—your comfort and your baby’s well-being are our top priorities.
Where are your classes held?
Our classes are held at Fresh Holistic Health Yoga Studio, 11/330 Mons Rd, Forest Glen. It is located near Kunara Organic Market Place.
What it I miss a class.
If you unable to make a class, you may be eligible to attend a different class as make-up. Make-ups, are subject to availability and are only valid within the same term dates as your original booking.
Alternatively, if you know you will be away for certain dates throughout a term, please let us know before booking and will can adjust the term price for you.
Can I book a casual pass for the mums and bubs classes.
We currently do not offer casual passes for our Mums & Bubs classes. This decision is made with the well-being of your baby in mind. Consistent attendance allows babies to become familiar with their environment and peers, fostering a sense of security and comfort. Regular participation also helps build a supportive community among mums, enhancing the overall experience for both you and your little one.
